The Champion US-80-1R is an 8000 lbs extra capacity hoist used for leasing. It lifts and lowers and extra 2000 lbs. of men and materials as compared to our standard hoist. The US-80-1R travels at speeds up to 150 FPM.
The US-80-1R and its twin hoist equivalent, the US-80-2R have a slightly larger cab interior as compared to our standard construction hoist, the US-60-1R. See specifications tab below for more details.
If your building is more than 10 stories high (or the equivalent of 100 ft service height), we recommend that you consider the Champion US-80-2R which contains twin cages for double the capacity and faster travel for all personnel and materials.
Metro also can refurbish your old hoists or sell you (when available) a like new Champion Hoist of either this model or another hoist very similar to meet your needs.
