Yes, we do. We also offer permanent installations for industrial hoists.
What is Metro Elevator's normal business hours?
We are open 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. EST Monday thru Friday excluding holidays. Outside of business hours, we have an answering service who will contact our on-call elevator mechanics. Our elevator mechanics are on-call "24-7-365" for emergencies or unplanned downtime for our customers that are on a maintenance service agreement.
How quickly can Metro deliver an elevator after order?
We can ship the hoist if needed in a couple days however certain states require permitting and that can delay the start of the installation.
Are permits required to install a hoist?
Many states require permits for installation of a hoist through their Elevator Safety Division or have OSHA inspect elevators. Also, there are many cities like Buffalo, Detroit, New York City, Virginia Beach and many others that require licenses and permits.”

Who installs the elevators on the jobsite?
Metro Elevator can do turn key installations, except for power installation in most localities, or we can provide supervision of the erection with Licensed Elevator Mechanics.
What states require permits and or licenses to install temporary elevators?
States:
Indiana, Michigan, Arkansas, Washington, Nevada, North Carolina, California and various other states require permits to install hoists
Municipalities:
Buffalo, Detroit, New York City, Virginia Beach and many other localities require licenses and permits.
