The Champion US-80-2R is an 8000 lbs extra capacity twin cab hoist used for leasing. It lifts and lowers and extra 2000 lbs. of men and materials as compared to our standard hoist. The US-80-2R travels at speeds up to 150 Feet Per Minute.
The US-80-2R and its single car equivalent, the US-80-1R have a slightly larger cab interior as compared to our standard construction hoist, the Champion US-60-1R. See specifications tab below for more details.
If your building is less than 10 stories high (or the equivalent of 100 ft service height), we recommend that you consider the Champion US-80-1R to reduce your overall leasing costs. The main disadvantage for not using a twin car hoist is the reduced productivity due to increased wait times at various landings.
Metro also does construction hoist refurbishing or we can sell you (when available) a like new refurbished Champion Hoist of either this model or another hoist very similar to meet your needs.
